I have a PXI-6363. The recommended cable is the SHC68-68-EPM. I have one of those handy, but need 2. I found a couple of unused cables laying around (SHC68-68-RMIO & SHC68-68-RDIO). Can I use either of these as a substitute for an EPM cable?

I'm not convinced that you can just substitute them, and if they do work it would not be ideal. For one, the SHC68-68-EPM specifies it terminates in a 68 pin VHDCI offset, whereas the others are just VHDCI, but I haven't been able to find information on the difference. Beyond that, they don't list compatibility for X and M series for the RMIO or RDIO cables. While they're all 68 pin cables there are vast differences in wire grouping and shielding, and they're all optimized for different functionality/DAQ cards. I've found the wire mappings for the EPM and RMIO which demonstrates this.

For future reference, we do not recommend the RDIO and RMIO cables for the PXIe-6363 due to their signal pairings and more.
