Resource Conflict on Startup -> WinHost does not find FPGA-Modules

Hi,

i'm using a PXI - Controller with two FPGA - Modules. On Startup, the BIOS shows me:

WARNING
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI on Motherboard
Bus:01, Device:06, Function:00
WARNING
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI in slot 04
Bus:01, Device:0D, Function:00
WARNING
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI in slot 02
Bus:01, Device:0F, Function:00
Press <F1> to resume, <DEL> to enter SETUP

After Resuming, my Windows-Host recognizes the PXI-Controller, but not the FPGA - Modules.

I've already tried to put the FPGA-Modules in different Slots. The error for the Motherboard resists also if there's only the controller in the chassis.

thx i.a. for your advices, mike

Hi mikepxi,

I searched for a solution of your PXI - FPGA problem and found only one hint.
An other customer had the same problem, and he tried a new BIOS version.

It seems that this solved his problem, because he was very satisfied.
So please try to install the new BIOS.

Hope this helps.

thx for your advice.
I've tried the 1.50 you've sent me and a 1.81 BIOS Version which i've found on your ftp:
now i have a lot of additional configuration options, but the errors are the same.

our local PXI-Support thinks that the Controller is wrecked, we've got a new one 🙂

regards, mike
