PXI ground

Hello
On the DIO96 channels, the GND in the connectors is not connected to the metal casing of the board.
However of the one that puts the card in a PXI 1073, it connects the GND to the ground.
Is it possible to remove this link in the PXI?
A rider to remove for example?

I have a NI PXI 1033 chassis and when I put a NI PXI-6509 in it, it connects its GND to PXI power ground. This is not common as demand but I want to know if we can disassociate the GND from the 6509 to ground chassis knowing that I will read it further with a resistance.
