we have two PXI-1044 chassis, both with Windows XP english and controller PXI-8106. When we switch off Windows (Start -> Turn Off Computer, Turn Off) Windows XP starts shutting down appears the black with Windows Logo screen "It is now safe to turn off your computer". Afterwards we have to switch off manually the PXI.
How can we skip this manually operation? We'd like to avoid this.
This would be nice for the PXI-1033 chassis as well! Also, any way to automatically turn on the PXI chassis when starting the computer? I have the PXI-1033 with the external controller (ie. the PC). The PXI has to be up and running prior to starting the PC or you have problems (just as the PC must shut down prior to turning off the PXI chassis). Probably, the best solution is to just let the PXI chassis stay turned on (if possible).
