Does anyone know if the NI PXI modules that are equipped with unbalanced differential inputs are also compatible with single ended inputs? The module in question is a PXI 4472.
I am planning to run several sensors to a PXI in a very noisy environement, and have been advised that floating differential may be the best way to go. Nevertheless, I'd still like to at least try a single-ended input. Can anyone advise please?
The PXI-4472 does not support this type of input, as you cannot physically connect a single ended input to the male smb connectors on the card.
For future reference, you can simulate the device on NI MAX, acquire a simulated signal and change the Terminal Configuration to see what input options are available.
