An older 6-slot PXI Chassis (NI PXI-1036DC) that we have just started making a whistling sound. Is the fan going bad? Any ideas?

Is the whistling affected by turning the fan switch from auto to high?

Yes, it does appear that the sound is the fan. I am looking into replacement options...
