I'm trying to do a manual verification on a PXI-4070 DMM and cannot get the 4-wire resistance to pass. When trying to verify the accuracy of the ranges 10MΩ to 100Ω with 0Ω's applied from the 5720A the DMM reads high through all these ranges. However if I apply the auto zero function they all pass. My question is in the 4070 specification manual for DC and AC accuracy there is a note stating that auto zero is enabled, but there is no note for the resistance specifications. Should the auto zero function be enabled for both 4 and 2-wire resistance verification also?
