Hello,
I have a test system with NI-PXI , NI DMM SWITCH 2575 for connection test on a fusebox and NI 2527 for POWER SWITCH for relais test.
From time to time, there are parts which fail at a relay test with I Contact Open.Limits are [-0.001 to 0.001 A] and the measurement is 0.59A for example. Please see the attachment, the vi was made in Labview 8.2. From this data, do you think I have a short in test, or maybe the smd relays from NI PXI 2527 are not opening every time? Or should I increase more the wait time before the measurement on I contact open?
Contact1 'X1.49' & 'X4.1'
I Contact1 open = 511,030715m
Coil ON 'X2.33' & 'X1.48'
I Coil = 85,526836m
I Contact1 closed = 999,732305m
U Contact1 closed = 72,345541m
Coil OFF 'X2.33' & 'X1.48'
I Contact1 open2 = 585,690230m
Contact2 'X1.49' & 'X1.9'
I Contact2 closed = 999,922020m
U Contact2 closed = 27,831744m
Coil ON 'X2.33' & 'X1.48'
I Contact2 open = -142,457709u
Coil OFF 'X2.33' & 'X1.48'
I Contact2 closed2 = 999,828856m
U Contact2 closed2 = 27,752700m

Hi ioanandrei.ciurdar@leoni.com,
My first thought is that this leads more towards a change in software. It seems to be measuring successfully, but not handling the data correctly.
When you run the test, can you follow the result of the in range boolean of the I Contact1 open all the way to the P/F boolean array?
It looks as if you have a healthy wait time, however, the NI 2527 does have electromechanical switches, so it could be worth increasing the wait time before measurement as a troubleshooting step.
