Must I unistall LV7.0 before update to LV7.1?

I must upgrade my system from LabVIEW 7.0 to LabView 7.1;

can I install the new version as an upgrade or I must remove the older version?

LabVIEW 7.1 is a standalone new release, so you do not need to have LabVIEW 7.0 installed before installing 7.1.

If you like, you can keep both development systems on your machine, since they are going to be installed to 2 totally different directories.

I recommend keeping only 1 version of LabVIEW on the same machine in order to avoid mingling with the drivers libraries.
