Meas&Auto Explorer Fails to see any Devices

I cannot find any of my PXI-instruments in M&A Explorer. I'm running LV 8.0.1.
 
Checked the Windows System, and all the devices show up as installed and operating properly.
Re-installed (repaired) M&A Explorer, per technica;l support suggestion.
Tried refreshing.
 
Nothing shows up, hardware, software, etc. in M&A Explorer. I have 9 PXI instruments installed, plus the controller.
 
Suggestions?

One thing that has worked for me in the past:
 
Make sure MAX is closed.  Go to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MAX (or wherever MAX is installed on your machine).  Then, either delete the Data directory or move it out of the MAX folder (depending on how brave you are Smiley Happy).  Then restart the machine just for good measure.  Then open MAX and try searching for instruments.  This forces MAX to rebuild the config files that were in the data directory and has fixed this problem in the past for me.

Thanks. That's what technical support had me do, and it worked. Never could answer to what happened to the data store. I lost the MAX devices when I upgraded to LV 8.0.1.
