Has NI validated a Linux distribution on one of the dual core PXI controllers (e.g. PXI-8106)? If not, any plans to do so? Thanks.

I'm currently looking into this and will let you know what I find. As far as I know we have not tested yet, but I'm bringing this up with R&D to find out more.

Our newer dualcore controllers have not been tested with Linux, and there are no plans on the horizon to do so.

However, if you would like to attempt this, check the documentation of the Linux distribution and version you are planning on using, to see if they support the chipset on the PXI controller. You can check which chipset is on the controller by looking at the datasheet found online on the product pages, in the Specifications section.
