How to sync a simulate card with a real card

Hi all:

I have only one  6124 on hand and installed in a 1073 chassis.

But my project finally need two 6124 for data acquisition. I am developing software for it, so I just want to test the performance of sync two cards, but the problem occurs every time I try to start the two tasks.

I just download the sample from http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3615/en  and tried Figure 6 example on my PC, same error occurs. It is said I can't use a simulated device to work together with a real device, or can any one provide me some solution to it.

Thx in advance.

The error message occured is:

No registered trigger lines could be found between the devices in the route.

If you have a PXI chassis, identify the chassis correctly in MAX, and make sure it has been configured properly. If you are using PCI devices, make sure they are connected with a RTSI cable and that the RTSI cable is registered in MAX. Otherwise, make sure there is an available trigger line on the trigger bus shared between the devices

Source Device: PXI1Slot2  (a real 6124 device, run in master task)
Destination Device: PXI1Slot3 (a simulated device, run in slave task)
