How to route front panel trigger(PXIe-8108)to the backplane (PXIe-1075 chassis)

Manual for 8108 says the front panel SMB connector "Trig" can be routed to the backplane trigger lines, e.g. PXI_Trig0 , but it does not say how to configure that. Can it be done in NI-MAX? or shall I write my own vi doing that ? I would like to use the port as a master trigger for cards in the PXI crate. Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks!

I have a similar question. I heared there is some "beta" vi for this.

You can do this with the DAQmx Signal Routing VIs or by pointing to the controller's SMB port with a property node. See the following KB for more detailed information:
