Establish and negotiate telnet secession in Labview between client/server

Greetings.

                I am requesting help in automating a telnet secession, ‘login and password’ in 6.1. Currently I know that 6.1 will establish a raw TCP connection, and assigning (23) to the port id for the TELNET secession, but has nothing specifically to handle the negotiation between the client and server with regards to terminal type, terminal speed and other perimeters. I’m also having difficulty with the TCP Read errors. Any help or direction to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated

    National Instruments does have a toolkit available for LabVIEW that performs telnet connectivity.  It is called the Internet Connectivity Toolkit, which is now part of the Enterprise Connectivity Toolkit.  Here is a webpage about this toolkit, with a datasheet specifying the communication protocols it will help you utilize.
