Error -1073807343 when starting RFSA Demo Panel

Hi all,

I get the error message "Error -1073807343 occurred at niScope Initialize.vi" with "Possible reason(s):
Insufficient location information or the requested device or resource is not present in the system" when I start the RFSA Demo panel of our newly purchased NI-PXI 5661. All modules are installed correctly and passed selftests. The digitizer PXI-5142 is associated to the downconverter PXI-5600 according to the manual. What else can I check? What's wrong? Please help!

Hi Vedis,

Are you using the 5660 demo panel or the RFSA Demo panel example located here:-

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\examples\instr\niRFSA.

from the programs>>National Instruments>>RFSA  you can see the 5660 demo panel, this will not work with the 5661 you would need to continue to >>Examples>>LabVIEW 8.2 then you will see the RFSA Demo panel example folder. The 5661 demo panel is located there.

Hi Nick

I was actually using  the "5660 demo panel". Is there a stand-alone RFSA Demo panel for 5661, which is independent of Labview? We are not using Labview, but C, sorry 🙂

Hi Vedis,

Sorry but as far as I am aware there is not a standalone application SFP for the 5661 only the LabVIEW example.
