Device Driver for device on PXI-8186

I recently had a HD failure in my PXI chasis and took the opportunity to upgrade the drive and the OS on it. In going from Windows 2000 to XP, I was able to get most of the drivers necessary, despite the age of much of the hardware. I'm still missing one driver and was wondering if anyone could figure out what it was.

The device is on the Intel 82801 LPC Interface Controller and has the the Hardware ID of ACPI\NIC7019.

The device I got installed right before this one, had a similar ID of ACPI\NIC7018. It was the NI Watchdog Timer.

Any ideas what this is and where I can get drivers for it?

Thanks!

The drivers you need are located here.  This website is our ftp site for 818x series controller drivers.  Let me know if you need more information!

Thanks.

My problem is happened when the user changed windows from vista to xp. so, there is unknown devices in devices manager. The unknown devices is shown as ACPI\NIC7019 in the unknown devices properties. I already tried unplug and plug the devices but the result is same. Do u have any suggestion regarding on this?

I had the same problem both for a PXIe-8135 and a PXI-8102. It is the drivers for Watch Dog and Trigger Routing. It seems like these drivers are NOT in the normal downloads for the PXI controllers (at the time of writing, june 2013).

Search the Knowledgebase for "Yellow Exclamation Mark in Device Manager After Installing Windows on My NI Embedded Controller" it explains what to do. At the bottom of the page, there is a download link to a small driver file needed. Not sure for what version.

At the bottom of this post: http://forums.ni.com/t5/PXI/Update-PXI-8110-image-to-Windows-7/td-p/1127928 there is also a Win7 driver download file which solved the problem on my Win7/64
