Are the PXI-6289 ground pins tied to earth ground?

Are the ground pins of the PXI-6289 card tied to earth ground?  I have one card that shows that this is the case, but another of the same card I used in the past did not show this.  If so, is there a way around this?

All of the grounds including analog output, input and digital I/O are tied together to the common ground.  For a PXI chassis that common ground is chassis ground which should be connected to earth ground via the power outlet that you are connected to.

If readings are different from one ground to another on the same card, the cable maybe damaged or the pins may be bent.  If the power outlet that the chassis is connected to does not have appropriate ground connection then check the PXI chassis user manual to see how to connect safety ground.

I hope this helps!
