Acronis allows you to restore a previously saved image to your hard drive. So to restore any files with Acronis, you would have needed to save an image of the drive with Acronis previously. From there you would be able to overwrite the hard drive with the saved image to restore the drive to that saved point. So like Mike said, you can only recover what you have previously stored using Acronis.
