I can't find the specifications of the +5V output current rating (Pin 1 to Pin 2 GND) on the scope cards (5922/5124)  9-pole mini DIN connector

Hi Henrik,

just to clarify your question: You want to know the maximum output current for the +5V Pin, not for the PFI0/PFI1 pins?

Pin 1, 5V fused ?

Yes , I want the max current out of pin 1 (+5V fused) of the mini DIN connector to supply a custom circuit.

The PFIs max current is specified with 24mA but not the 5V

Meanwhile I found the spec a spec of the 5102 (that don't have and use) in the high speed digitizer getting started, that notes(p22) that the 5102/5112/5911 is fused with 1.1A self resetting , 30mA recommended... however no information is provided for the 5922/5124. The pinout and ratings really should be noted in the specs 😉

So, do the 5922/5124 have the same rating than the 5102??

I want to drive a latching (bistable) relay to inject a signal. I added my planed schematic. Ontimes should be around 10ms, Coil resistance 173 Ohm, about once a min...

Don't know if D1 is needed , however it doesn't hurt 😉

Hi Hendrik,

according to my internal documents, the

NI PXI-5922 - National Instruments
http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/201603

Order Number 779153-01

use a 1.1A polyfuse for the AUX +5V (fused) pin.

The

NI PXI-5124 - National Instruments
http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/14231

Oder Number 778757-01/02/03/04

use the same fuse with 1.1A rating.

Regards, Stephan
