When importing simulation models in the system definition file, an absolute path has to be inserted. Also when looking at the .nivssdf file in XML format, there is an absolute path referring to the model. This is very annoying when moving the project to a different location. Maybe it can be a good idea to change the XML in Notepad for instance, but I’m not sure this will work.
The same problem arises when working with NI-XNET for CAN communication between the PXIe and the ECU. An alias is linked to a database located at a certain path. When the project (with the databases included) is moved to another location, the same problem arises as mentioned before. In this case, a new alias has to be created linked to another path. Can you recommend a way how to handle this issue?
