Error 1172 and crash

Hello everyone,

Since a couple of hour, I have some trouble with my VeriStand Project. I have been working on it 2 weeks and since today, on every action that I do on the project I get an error 1172 :

I understand that I have to check this error on MSDN web site but to be honest, when I did it, I didn't understand what I should do ...

After getting this error maybe 5 times, VeriStand crash and gives me this :

I have already try to shutdown my PC but no more success ...

Any idea ?

Hello,

This is a very known error when you are working with NI Veristand .NET API.

Whenever there is a mistake in the code, this error is given, so you can't really tell where is the source of your error.

Do you have a previous working version of your code to realize where the last modification was made and try to solve it?

Otherwise, this error appears with my other VS project (build without the .NET API) so I am a bit disapointed...

Should I uninstall my VeriStand ? Cause nothing is working now ...

It's not a VeriStand error, there is no point in reinstalling it.

You need to figure out what is wrong with your code.

Ok I have finnaly found the matter. You were right, I have a problem when I had a new port can with the Simple System Definition API.

I must find an other way to add my port.
