Autostart VeriStand Project using LabView

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello to everybody,
I would like to manage through LabView selection and deploying of projects on my PXI.

In order to know which project is running I only founded the solution to create an ad hoc ALIAS that appears at the top of the list. Is there anyone who knows a smarter solution?
Enclosed is my example .VI
Thank you so much for your replies

You may want to look at the NI VeriStand - Get System State.vi function that lies in the NIVS palette. It notably returns the path to the deployed definition file in case it is already running one (and you can use Connect to System.vi to run a definition file instead of a project). That might be more convenient than your alias workaround!

Thank you very much!

The .vi returns exactly the system definition file path and this is what I need

Thanks
