mixing CVI and LabVIEW tests

Within the same sequence file, can tests of varying types (i.e. CVI and LabVIEW and VEE for that matter) exist together?  If so, I'm wondering what adapter is chosen at the top.

Yes, all the step types can co-exist in the same sequence file.  You select the adaptor that is appropriate for the test step that you are about to add.  It does not have an effect when running the test, only when adding a new step.

Hi,

That's one the advantages of TestStand, you can have test sequencefile with different code module such as CVI or LabVIEW etc.
You select the adapter to match  the type of code module, eg CVI for CVI object or DLL, LabVIEW for LabVIEW VI and soon on.

Hope this helps
