Why Sequence=Passes if a teststep was failed?

Hello.
i´m using TS3.5 and LV 8.2.
In a sequence are steps called and some of the steps are failed. Now i´m wondering why the sequence is still passed?
I checked all steps for the flag Properties ->RunOptions-> "Step failure causes sequence failure" : Its enabled everywhere.
Are there other things what i can check why this is so?

The RunMode of the sequence is "Normal" (not force Pass).
The steps are numeric-limit-tests. The fail because the result is not in the limit.

The solution is: I modified the status-expression of my teststeps. Normally status is only Passed or Failed. I changed the status expression to display "Passed, + Result".
Thats why it didnt work. Now i changed it back and its ok.
