TestStand 4.1 with Windows 7

When I launch TestStand with administrator rights, I have the following error :

Unable to access the TestStand configuration directory...

The solution is :

change the directory specified in the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\TestStand\<version>\CfgLocation

The problem is that there is no TestStand Directory on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\

Does TestStand 4.1 run with Windows 7 ?

TestStand Lifecycle Support.

TestStand 4.2.1 is the first version running on Win7 as a supported version. Previous versions *might* run on Win7, but are not supported.

If you are using a 64 bit os and regedit.exe you need to look under the wow64 node for the 32 bit version of the registry.

More specifically, you should be looking under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\National Instruments\TestStand

if using regedit.exe on a 64-bit OS.
