With TestStand 2014 you can take advantage of more memory, simplify debugging of deployments, and quickly develop new tests with improved integration with LabVIEW and .NET. See the below list for all of the major features of the new release:

 

  • Full 64-bit Native Support – Prepare for future system growth and simplify management of memory-intensive test applications with access to as much as 192 GB of system RAM using 64-bit TestStand 
  • Redesigned Database Viewer Application and Database Options Dialog Box – Increased visibility into database configurations and test results through completely redesigned user interfaces
  • New and Updated Shipping Examples – Quickly learn TestStand features with both new and reworked TestStand example programs 
  • Custom Data Type and LabVIEW Cluster Synchronization – Reduce test code maintenance by quickly updating TestStand data types to match LabVIEW clusters 
  • Share .NET Objects between TestStand and LabVIEW – Tighter code integration and more flexibility when leveraging object-oriented programming 
  • Improved Logs for Debugging Deployment Builds in the TestStand Deployment Utility – Simplified troubleshooting of complex deployment builds with updated build log viewer and error details
