Does testsatnd Source code control work with TFS ?

Hi NewSCRUser,

 

If you refer to the KB article linked below, it mentions that TestStand can integrate with any source code control (SCC) system that supports the Microsoft SCC API.  If the Microsoft SCC API isn't supported, you may need to use a plugin to integrate the two.  You can check out the linked forum discussion for more information as well.  

 

You should also note that there is a known issue with MFC Microsoft Foundation Class)-based TestStand applications crashing when using TFS (Third link below, 51321
47JBHTIA).

I am using TFS with labview and Teststand. it works great in my opinion.

 

the only thing i notice that there might be a bug. is when you have policies when checking in files. i have  a policy on tfs to always write comments, but i get an error when trying to check in from labview or teststand. you can alwyas override the policy though.( i have a ticket opened on NI support for it)

 

other than that it works really good.
