Show comment-change of Steptype in all TestSteps

Hello,
i have a step-type with a new created container with some variables in it.
This steptype is called in the mainsequence. When i now change a comment of a variable in the steptype then this new comment ist not shown in the already inserted step. Also if i check "[X] Apply changes to all loaded instances of type".
What do i have to do that the new comment is shown everywhere?

Thanks for your help

Hi,

The apply change will only happen if the affect sequence files are already loaded.

What you need to do is change the version of the step type, so that when a sequence file is loaded, you will get a conflict displayed that there is a difference with the step type in that sequence file, this will give you some options as to which step type to use.

Hope this helps

But the step is in the same file.
I have one step-type and this step-type is inserted/used in the mainsequence.
When i change the step-type then its not shown in the alread used/insertet teststep in the same file.

The Checkmark "[X] Apply changes to all loaded instances of type" works for the value of the variable. But if a change the comment in steh step-type then its not changed in the used teststep.
