I have Created Custom Step Types with .seq type. How to display them on insertion palette? So that I can see them while I am writing new .seq file.
I can see default Step Types in insertion palette like in the image below.

Hi,
When you create a custom type there are two ways of doing it :
1) CTR + T (open type palettes)
Select your sequence
add a new step type under the step type.
This creates a custom step type specific to that sequence and can be added only in that sequence.
Add a new step in that test sequence.Pull it to the template box under the steps folder (left bottom box in the default GUI).Then this will be visible for other test sequences for addition.
2) In the type palettes menu go to mytypes.ini and add a new step type under it.
This will create a new step type for the whole of TestStand (all sequences created).
This will be visible in the default step type menu for adding to the sequence.
Hope this helps.
