Sequence File will not unlock for editing

A password was set on a sequence file.  This password was copied from an instruction on how to create a deployment for a set of test.  The sequence  file will not unlock for editing.  How can I unlock the sequence file?  I am using Test Stand 2014.  This file was last edited in Test Stand 2014.

I did try that approach and it did not work. This password is not an admin password.  This is a password on one test sequence file in a suite of tests.  Any other ideas?

Hi,

The admin password is for TestStand level.

This password is a sequence level password specifically set for that test sequence.

I can think of only "test" or "123".

Hope this unlocks for you.

I'm not 100% sure what you are having problems with. Is the problem that you simply don't remember the password? Or are you unsure how to get teststand to prompt to unlock the file? You can always go to the sequence file property dialog to unlock the file, assuming you know the password.

I have the password.  The password on these files are all set to the same value per an internal work instruciton.

The password was set by copying the password  from the work instruciton and pasted into the password field.   When I enter the password to unlock the file,  Ithe file will not unlock.  I have tried copying and pasting the password from the work instruction as well as entering the password manually. The file will not unlock when entered.  How can I override the password ?

Does it only pop up when opening this file? Or does the box open everytime TestStand is opened?
