Organizing sequences in file

Hello,

My question concerns the sequence file arrangement.

When wanting to simulate an inner procedure there are two options: (maybe more, but these are the ones that I know)
1. Adding a sequence in the current file.
2. Creating another sequence and call it when needed.

I prefer using the first method, only that when creating many sequences it's getting harder to find the desired inner sequence.

Is there an option to organize them using user defined folders (visual only) or maybe create another visual separation like different colors?

Thanks,

Tal.

Hi,

There are no built in functions to organise sequences within a sequencefile. And the colours are set for only the different types such as callbacks, configuration etc and are not user defineable.

I am assuming the problem arises when you have a large number of sequences and are trying to find the right one to assign to the SequenceCall step.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes, this is exactly the case.

The thing is that while writing the script it isn't too bad, but when the script reaches the maintenance phase I'm afraid no one could understand what's going on there.

I know I could write another external sequence and organize it that way, but I don't think it's right.

Thanks,

Tal.
