Icon folder / components directory

I want to change the components directory from default to another place (network).

I found this old post

The actual problem for me is right now also the icon directory.... but I could imagine that there will be problems with some of the others components.. so there should be a option to change the path to the components directory

Has anything changed (I am using TS3.1) ???

I have the same problem My workaround was to create a file on the network and then use SyncBack to periodically copy (backup) the contents from the network file to the local file

Thanks for you answer....... I don't think that is the best solution... I think I will make a seq that synch 2 folders.. and do calls it from a callback... for instance in the LoginLogout callback.

What about NI do they have a comment to this problem ????
