How do I make a local variable of type NI_LimitMeasurement?

I am writing a custom sequence to be called in a process model that produces a custom report format. In this sequence, I would like to create a local variable of type NI_LimitMeasurement which is a standard type in NI_Types.ini

When I am in locals tab and right click to add a local variable this type is not listed in the insert local menu. How can I get it listed there so I can create a local of this type?

Thanks,
Lori

Lori,

What version of TestStand are you using?
You should be able to add a 'NI_LimitMeasurement' local variable by going to Insert Local->Types->NI_LimitMeasurement.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

It's a hidden type, so you have to go to the Configure | Station Options and select Preferences Tab on the Station Options Dialog.
Then check the Show Hidden Properties check-box.

Then you will beable to do Insert Local->Types->NI_LimitMeasurement.
