Avoiding _copy_copy(3) with cut & paste

How can I negate the "feature" that appends _copy to anything that pasted into a sequence with a duplicate step name? I really find this behavior annoying and have not figured out a way to turn it off.

Hi,

Dont cut & paste is your only option, you could put in a feature request to beable to switch it on or off. Now that each step has a unique identify, duplicate name is not such an issue, (execept for the property loader)

Turn off Configure>>Sequence Editor Options>>Make Step Names Unique When Inserting Steps.

I'm not sure what version this featured first appeared in, but it is in 3.1.
