Hello,
I am seeing strange behavior when I first start TestStand. I am getting an error -17500 'System Out Of Memory Exception was thrown' when executing the 'Create plug-in cache' step in the sequence 'Initialize Model Plugins' in the ModelSupport.seq. Here's the kicker: I only see this error when I try to run TestStand through a LabWindows/CVI GUI. I do not see this error when running TestStand from the Sequence Editor or a LabVIEW GUI I am using TS 2012 and CVI 2012. I am rnning the Parallel model. When I look at the Windows Task Manager Performance I do not see any memory issues. I have uninstalled and reinstalled TS and CVI to no avail. I am hoping someone else may have experienced this problem o rhave an idea of what the possible culprit is. I am running out of options.
I have attached a screen shot of the Run-Time Error window.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Jim

Doug,
I've forgot to mention that I'm running TestStand 2014 (32bit) and LabView/CVI 2013.
Thanks,

Correction LabWindow/CVI 2013 not LabView/CVI 2013.

Hi ucf,
The error you are seeing is not necessarily attributed to CVI. Are you also calling TestStand from CVI when this error is thrown? This may resolve the issue but was only seen as a problem in CVI 2011. I would also like to point out that those are actually two commands: CD -> to get to the directory and EDITBIN -> to modify the bin directory.
If that does not resolve the issue, you may want to look at your system memory and see if it is spiking during runtime.
In the future, I recommend creating a new thread instead of posting on an old one. You will get more visibility by the community and it won't be overlooked as resolved.
I hope this helps!

I'm also encountering "-17000 out of memory" & "-17500 operation failed", could someone re-post the link or shed some light?

Hi colin.c,
Is your Operator Interface based on either CVI or .NET? If so, what are their versions?
Thanks in advance

It's TestStand 2017 and Labview 2018, so neither CVI nor .NET. Thanks in advance.
