Current shortcuts for TestStand include Ctrl-D to close executions and Ctrl-F4 to close a sequence file. However, both of those windows show up as tabs in the current GUI layout.
Every modern internet browser allows the user to close a tab with Ctrl-W. This would also be a neat feature when only trying to close one report at a time when viewing the results from multiple UUTs, instead of closing all reports by closing all executions with Ctrl-D.
Ctrl-F4 closes the active document window in the sequence editor, including execution windows, not just sequence files. Also you can change it to Ctrl+W if you want by customizing the keyboard shortcuts for the menu item. It is admittedly a bit misleading in that the menu item says "Close Sequence File 1", but it is really a special menu item that changes its caption based on the active document.
Every web browser I've seen closese a tab window with either Ctrl+W or Ctrl+F4. Ctrl+F4 is the standard windows hotkey to close the active document window. Many applications close the active window with Ctrl+F4 but not Ctrl+W, like Visual Studio for example.
