Include Configuration files, such as TestExec.ini by default in Deployment Utility

Status: Completed

We chose not to include this by default, but now there is a "From TestStand Configuration Directory" option on the source tab. If you check that box it will preselect the most relevant config files for you.

* Why not include Configuration files, such as TestExec.ini by default in Deployment Utility?

* Also using default settings, nothing appears in the Start Menu/All Programs menu on the target machine. Why not have the main sequence file to be installed so that it appears in the Start Menu/All Programs menu on the target machine?

How do I Include My Station Globals, Search Directories, Tools Menu, etc. in My Deployment When Using the TestStand Deployment Utility?

Why is the default NOT to include these files??? Why would anyone ever generate a new deployment package using configuration settings that are not mostly the same as found on the development station?
