We're happy to announce that GroupAdmins of closed groups will now receive notifications whenever a user requests to join. These notifications will be sent via private message in the community. The message will contain a link to the members page for your user group where you can accept or deny the pending requests.

The way you upload and view images is getting an overhaul!

With the new image uploader, you can:

• Drag and drop images into the uploader
• Select multiple images at once to upload
• Add captions to be displayed underneath an image
• On mobile, utilize the mobile browser's upload interface

We have disabled the text editor spellcheck and enabled browser spellchecking. Now you will see your text spellchecked as you type. If you see certain words marked as incorrect

The next phase of our ongoing community renovations is quickly approaching! In November, we'll be performing the migration of the NI User Group Community onto the platform currently used to host the NI Discussion Forums. See the timeline here for more details.

This is a major change that will affect all users and we want to ensure everyone is prepared. Below we have provided some quick updates regarding changes to features and functionality within the NI Community.

One of our goals with the upcoming renovations to the community is to provide a consistent experience for our users across all of ni.com. As such, we have been working on overhauling the design of the NI Community. The targeted date for these changes is Monday, July 25th.

The new design is uniform with the changes that came to the rest of ni.com earlier this year. The community pages are easier to scan, read, and navigate, and information is easier to find with the new community navigation available on the page. We've also ensured the community is optimized to work much better across screens of all sizes. This is known as "responsive design" and allows for a single version of the community to be available for browsing via desktop, tablets, or mobile phones.

The kudos button found on every post has been enhanced to make revoking kudos easier! Now, if you change your mind or click kudo by accident, to revoke the kudo simply click the kudo button again.

If you've ever wanted to see all of the questions you have helped solve on the forums -- now you can! We’ve added a new My Accepted Solutions component that displays a user’s most recent accepted solutions. You can see this component on any user's profile page.

As some of you have already noticed, there is a new icon popping up to the right of various user's names on the discussion forums. This icon is representative of the LabVIEW Champions program and its members.
