I'd like to invite you to attend the inaugural NIWeek Women's Leadership Forum, happening May 22-25 during NIWeek 2017 in Austin, Texas. This forum brings together women thought leaders from across the technology spectrum for collaboration, networking, and shared business insights.
I've met many talented and influential women at NIWeek in previous years and thought we should bring them together for a networking event. The idea has grown to include keynotes from top women executives and engaging roundtable discussions for attendees to have a unique opportunity to interact with the speakers.
The primary event takes place on Thursday, May 25, and includes presentations from influential female technology executives and technical leaders. They’ll be sharing best practices for increasing and leveraging diversity in engineering and science, followed by roundtable discussions focused on personal stories, lessons learned, and leadership strategies.
Dipti Vachani - Vice President and General Manager, Internet of Things Group, Intel Corporation
Tricia Berry - Director of the Women in Engineering Program, The University of Texas at Austin
Dr. Pamela Norris - Executive Associate Dean for Research, School of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Virginia
Shelley Gretlein - Vice President of Corporate Marketing, NI
We hope to include women engineers and scientists at all levels – from students and faculty in academia, to women in industry and government who are interested in technical leadership, to current technical managers and executives.
