update for multisim 10.1.1 not working

ni update service says there is an update for multisim

it tries to download something & when its finished simply says there was a problem installing it

thats all i get, no further information

whats going on & is there a way i can download this manually?

even though i have no idea what its trying to download exactly

i just bought multisim through emona so im puzzled as to why i even have 10.1.1 in the first place when 11+ is now available

but would appreciate if anyone knows what this supposed update is?

In Multisim go to Help>>About Multisim, what's the exact version (10.x.xxx)? Do you have Multisim Student or Education edition?

Do you get a specific error message?

i figured out that it was a problem with not running the update service as administrator

however, there was no actual update to multisim, it seems it was an update for the update service, strange

but my version of multisim is 10.1.372

education/student edition

just seems very old now when 11 is now out

Version 10.1.372 was the las update for Multisim 10. We can double check your Serial Number to see if you are eligible for version 11, just send us and email at ni.com/support.
