thermal runaway sim

Is there a way to simulate thermal runaway of a BJT amp in Multisim? I've been looking for a bit and may end up doing this in Labview.

Thanks,

Hi Dan,

Temperature is part of many BJT SPICE equations and when you change the temperature in the simulation, it affects many parameters. Most SPICE models are designed to work at the nominal temperature so when many parameters are changing at the same time, will simulation will likely be inaccurate.  Some models include temperature modelling that allows you to sweep only that parameter while keeping the rest the same, look in the model and see if there are any comments about temperature.
