I want to use an ideal diode to in the multisim. The ideal diode has a zero forward voltage when undergoing a forward current, and perfectly cut off in backward current. I cannot find the ideal diode model in the components library. Does Multisim have it? If not, could you tell me how to set a diode’s forward voltage very close to zero? It doesn’t have to be exactly zero, a very small number (e.g., less than 0.001V) should be good enough. I tried to set a very small number in junction potential (VJ). But it doesn’t work.
