Ultiboard 3D part body transparency

Solved!
Go to solution

My last edit session the Ultiboard footprint editor rendered the part 3D body as transparent.  This was nice as I could see all the hidden pads under the part.  When I re-started UB it was back to solid rendering.

Anyone know how to turn this 'feature' on intentionally?  UB14.0

Hi dbur,

I found this information for you, take a look at it and let me know if works.

Yes, that worked for the overall 3D view, just grey check the parts box.

My question was originally about doing this in the footprint editor 3D preview screen, where this does not seem to apply and I have not been able to replicate that feature.  Don't have a clue how I got it to work once.

OK, I figured this out.  Double click with right mouse button on the 3D preview and it changes from solid to transparent.
