Too many copper-area potentials

I'm getting the following message when trying to initiate the autorouter:

Error during autorouter preprocessing.
Source: Autorouter
Too many copper-area potentials

I've used the autorouter before on this board without any problems.  The only difference between then and now is that more traces were run manually.
