Im getting an error message when trying to run multisim 14.0 on windows 10. "The installation of this application may be corrupt. Use add or remove programs in the windows control panel to attempt to repair this problem." please help me... I got it to work the first day i installed ... The following day it gave me the error message above.

Hi Ckt-builder25,

 

Which version(32 or 64 bits) of Multisim are you using? The next document tell us that Multisim 64 bits is not supported on Windows 10 of 64bits.

Did you already tried the suggestion they gave you? Try uninstalling the software, also run the CCleaner to erase all the files and then install again the SW

I have the 32 bit version of multisim. I tried uninstalling and its not allowing me to... Says i have files related to multisim running in the background... Which i dont.

Where did you get Multisim? Did you install it using a CD or you downloaded from ni.com?

Maybe you will need to perform a force reinstall of the SW, follow the next link that tells you how to do it.

Also, could be better if you try using another installer, may be you can download the installer from ni.com.

Im sorry..... I made a mistake... Multisim is 64 bit.... What can i do now?? Is there anything i can do to exchange it for a version that works?

Hi,

 

Try downloading the files from ni.com. be sure that you search for the 32 bits version. I think that you can activate both version with the same serial number.
