I tried creating a new component using the component wizard--simulation only.....
The part is TIP31 transistor.
When I am done importing spice model and adding it to a family under "Transistor", I can't find the component in the library?
I tried doing a search, but couldn't find it.
I used this guide- Creating a Custom Component in Multisim

Hello,
Custom components are saved either on your User Database or on the Corporate Database. Open the Component Browser (Place>>Component...), in the Database field select your User/Corporate Database, your custom component should be in one of these databases.

Thanks Fernando!
I see all my components in the user data base.

hi Fernando.
Would like to seek for your help.
I am new in MULTISIM11.0.1 student edition.
I am working on a project, that is to connect a PIC16F84a with an external EEPROM 24LC65. However, I do not see or find any 24LC65 components in MULTISIM for me to do my simulation.
How do i draw/include components unfound in the database?
would there be any useful links that shows step-by-step guidance to include components that needs to be externally drawn and included?
Please Assist.
thank you for you time.
cheers~
