Multiple components for one part - is it possible?

Solved!
Go to solution

For example, the LM124 IC has 4 op amps inside of its package. Instead of creating one large component that would contain all 4 op amps, is it possible to create 4 'sub-components' of each op amp that were each linked to the specific spins on the IC's pattern? This could be helpful when the different op amps are used in different locations of the circuit.

Hi,

It certainly is possible, you have to create a multisection component when using the schematic symbol wizard.

Here's a link to a tutorail that shows you step by step how to do it...

Succes!
