How do I change only selected reference designators?

I need to change the reference designators of several parts on a Multisim / Ultiboard design, but I don't want to have to re-export everything to Ultiboard as this engenders much more clean up work.Any suggestions? Thank You very much, Tod

Hi,

You can change the reference designators in Ultiboard and then back annotate to Multisim to update the schematic.  To back annotate, in Ultiboard select Transfer>>Back annotate to Multisim.

I've found it's nicer to clean up my schematic so it matches what is in UB.  When my layout is done and I do an FA and it says 'nothing to forward annotate' that makes me feel Happy.
