Flip PCB in Ultiboard

Hello,

I'm building an adapter board (A) for an existing Ultiboard design (B) and I need to align mechanical features between the two boards. I used copy and paste to bring a copy of B into A's design, but now I need to flip board B over to "mate" the components. How can I do this?

Thanks,

Richard

Richard,

I think the best way is to 'group' the mechanically most important parts, and flip that as a group...

If you can't group all the parts you want, you can add references by yourself, group them and flip.

But how do I flip? I can only rotate.

Hi Richard,

Try this:

  1. Double click on the component or group that you want to flip
  2. Click on the Position tab
  3. Change the Board side from Top to Bottom (or vice versa)

Hope that helps.
