I have two Eseries 6024E Daq cards and I use their 4 counters at the same time. With one card I read the outputs of two encoders and they work well alone. But when I use the other counters on the other card which is in an another PCI slot, the encoder readings fail. The counter increments or decrements abnormally.. I checked the encoder outputs and they are ok but the reading is nonsense.. I run the VI s that read the encoders and the other cards counter VI parallel. Why does the operation of the counter effect the other..?? Is there any setting that must be done when usin two DAQ cards?? Or I am doing smthng. wrong??
